Faith
Grounding every effort in belief, character, and the values that hold a young person steady when life gets hard.
About the Foundation
The Silas Demary Jr. Foundation was founded on a simple belief: that one opportunity can redirect a young person's entire trajectory. We are a 501(c)(3) organization operating with discipline, transparency, and an unwavering commitment to the communities we serve.

The Origin
Silas Demary Jr. grew up understanding that talent opens doors, but it's community that keeps them open. The mentors, coaches, and neighbors who poured into him are the reason he stands where he does today.
As he prepares for the next chapter, the foundation is his way of making sure the door stays open for the kids coming up behind him — the one who just needs a court, a classroom, and a chance.
The Standard
Before the bright lights, the sellout crowds, and the pressure of the final buzzer, there are empty gyms, early mornings, and thousands of unseen repetitions. Silas Demary Jr.'s game is grounded in an unyielding work ethic — a belief that composure in high-pressure moments isn't luck; it's earned through relentless discipline and personal accountability.
That same standard drives this foundation. We teach young people that talent might get you in the gym, but perseverance, focus, and holding yourself to a higher standard are what carry you through every test life puts in front of you.
Five pillars
01
Grounding every effort in belief, character, and the values that hold a young person steady when life gets hard.
02
Treating every kid we serve as our own — so no one is left outside the circle.
03
Bringing people together around the game — building spaces and moments where young people find belonging and a team that shows up for them.
04
Creating access to gear, learning, and experiences that turn raw potential into real forward motion.
05
Three backpack drives down, two cities in, and a nationwide legacy just getting started — the road ahead is bright.
The Starting Five
Before there was a foundation, there was a family that believed in showing up.
